Apple Now Accepting iPad Applications April 3 Launch

Barely two more weeks away before iPad units starts arriving to those who pre-ordered it, Apple has just started accepting applications from developers. Those who will submit by March 27 will be featured during the April 3 launch.

If you’re an iPad app developer and eyeing a piece of the soon to be saturated iPad app market, it would be best to start as early as during the iPad launch. This could give your intended app a headway among competitors who might not be rushing their app for launch day.

But since iPad apps will be running alongside the existing iPhone and iPod apps in the Apps Store, there’s still a slim chance that your app will be noticed. Unless Apple will revamp the Apps Store to have a section specific to iPad apps.

Still, nothing beats the advantage of getting there ahead of everybody else. So, better start working now to have your app approved before April 3. Good luck!
