Exhange your Old CDs, DVDs for an iPad

Here’s a pretty interesting deal that will get you a brand new iPad courtesy of the folks from iPodMeister. If you’ve got a bunch of old CDs and DVDs that you so badly want to dispose, why not exchange them for an iPad instead.

Don’t believe it? Especially why would iPodMeister want your old CDs/DVDs? Well in case you’re not aware, the group was formed by musicians and students who find value in those old CDs, believing that they could still sell it abroad.

Now before you dig into your pile of rummage to collect your old CDs, there’s some strict rules as to which CDs the iPodMeister folks would accept. First, your CDs must be bought in a record store. Why? Probably to ensure that those CDs are legit and not bootlegged copies. Then, your CDs must have their original album artworks and the jewel cases. And that’s it. If you think you’ve got enough number of CDs, check out how many of them you need to get an iPad:

  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi 16 GB = 600 CDs or DVDs.
  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi 32 GB = 700 CDs or DVDs.
  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi 64 GB = 800 CDs or DVDs.
  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB = 950 CDs or DVDs.
  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi + 3G 32GB = 1050 CDs or DVDs.
  • iPad w/ Wi-Fi + 3G 64GB = 1150 CDs or DVDs.
