Latest report on the iTunes Apps Store covering both iPhone and iPad Stores from Distimo is now out. According to the said report, the iPad App Store now has around 4780 applications. This means that since the iPad was launch last April 3, the number of apps in the iPad App Store have grown by 32.7%.

Looking deeper into these iPad apps, the report found out that 1,587 of the total apps in the iPad App Store are games, 455 are entertainment apps and 396 are books.

The top five highest ranked paid iPad apps are Pages, GoodReader, Penultimate, The Pinball HD, and Keynote. While for the free apps, these are iBooks, The Solitaire, Break HD Free, ABC Player and Sundry Notes.
