I have an Otterbox Commuter Case for both my BlackBerry Bold 9700 and iPhone 3GS and one thing I can say about these cases is the fact that they look awesome when used on those devices. So, when I got my iPad I was hoping that Otterbox would release an Otterbox case for it as well.
Well, Otterbox just heard my wishes and is now previewing two iPad cases. And boy both these Otterbox Defender and Commuter cases for the iPad certainly look awesome and handsome.

The Otterbox Defender Case features three layers of solid materials that give your iPad ample protection for shock and scratches. It has silicone grip pads that can hold your iPad in place when in use. The usual silicone plugs are also present on all the ports of the iPad, even a snap-off bottom to let you dock the iPad on your iPad dock even with the case on. The case also has a built-in stnad and removable back polycarbonate cover.
The Otterbox Commuter case on the other hand also got most of the Defender case’s features but slimmer this time.
No words yet on when the Defender Case and Commuter Case will be available for sale but expect to shell out $90 and $65 for the cases respectively.
