It’s practically one day before Apple releases the much awaited iPad WiFi+3G models. And if you’ve pre-ordered one before or planning to troop to your nearest Apple Store on the 30th to grab an iPad unit, you’d probably be planning to get AT&T’s 3G data plan to go with your iPad.
In case you’re curious how this micro-Sim looks like, BGR received a tip off from a reader and is now publishing a photo of the AT&T micro-sim.
What’s interesting to note is the fact that the AT&T SIM has a cut-out for both the size of a regular SIM and the smaller size of a micro-SIM. This means that you can choose to use the SIM card on an iPhone or the micro-SIM for the iPad.
It’s a pretty clever idea, although I’m not really sure how you can re-used a cut micro-SIM into the size of the regular SIM?
