Will iPad Sale Goes Big in Japan?

In a few hours from now, Japanese gadget-loving people will soon get their hands on the iPad. In fact, the frenzy may have caught on them as early as a few hours ago as reports say that folks have already lined up at Apple Stores and Softbank outlets in Tokyo.  Take note, some of these folks have reserved the iPad a few weeks earlier but they don’t mind lining up at the stores to get their iPads as earlier as possible.

Japanese magazines have also started featuring the iPad in their cover stories. A magazine even branded the iPad as a “game-changer.” Can you believe that? Even in a technology-advance country such as Japan were all the greatest and latests gadgets use to come out, the iPad is still a much-sought after device? Credit it to Apple’s several years of building up the reputation and hype over its various products.

It’s pretty interesting to know how the iPad would fare in the Japanese market. Will it be as good as how it did in the U.S. ? Unfortunately, we will have to wait for Apple’s disposition to let this out especially since Apple ordered Softbank not to disclose any sales figures unless otherwise instructed.

What do you think folks? Will the iPad frenzy in Japan be as huge as it is in the U.S.?
