Briefly: Google has released the mobile version of its Google Docs viewer for Android, iPhone and of course iPad which will help you view PDFs, .ppt, .doc and.docx files that you’ve uploaded to your documents list, withouth actually needing to download the file to your iPad.
It’s a pretty good feature especially if you just want to scan through your Google Docs doc list and don’t want to upload the file to your iPad. You can quickly switch between pages as well as pan/zoom within a page.
To try out this feature, simply point your iPad’s browser to docs.google.com.
