Reeder for iPad App Syncs Well with Google Reader

I’ve been wanting to have this kind of iPad app before and even spent $5 to get the Pulse Reader iPad App hoping that I can get my Google Reader items into it but never really had the chance to learn how to do it, until I learned that Reeder is now available for iPad.

Reeder app takes it roots from the iPhone but I never really had the chance to get it from my iPhone 3GS. So, this is the first time that I’m going to use it. In case you’re not aware, Reeder is a third-party Google Reader app. Meaning, it syncs all your subscribed RSS feeds from Google Reader and present it in a very nice way on iPad.

Reeder for iPad is simply amazing. The interface is simple, neat and yet very functional.  The main screen gives all your Google Reader feeds by categories. You can also display feeds by list based on the site name.

Reeder for iPad also lets you share feed items easily on various social bookmarking and media sites or via email. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support Facebook or Twitter sharing yet.

The app also has a built-in browser that opens up if you want to check out the original source of the news feed. A back arrow button easily lets you go back to the app as well.

Overall, Reeder for iPad is a great Google Reader app. If your life depends so much on Google Reader, you need to get this app and use it on your iPad. It beats the native Google Reader sub-app that comes with Google Mobile app.

Reeder for iPad is available from the iPad App Store for $4.99.
