As if the ABC Player for iPad wasn’t cool enough, here comes another ABC app that will certainly blow away your mind – ABC News. The ABC News app may seem like your typical news reader app giving you the day’s headlines and news that matter. But what makes it different is the globe menu which serves as a navigation tool for finding the news.
This globe is interactive of sort as you can tap on specific images to get into the news information. You can spin the globe to find other news items, shake your iPad to shuffle the articles and videos, filter the globe to select your favorite topic or show and share news items to your friends on Facebook or Twitter or email.
