Finally, A Much Needed Update for Twitterific for iPad
Alright Twitterific fans, here’s your much awaited updated for the Twitterific for iPad app. It might have taken the Icon Factory folks to release this update but it is certainly worth the wait. In fact, the list of new features have taken one whole screen of my iPad.
First the new features of Twitterific for iPad or Twitterific for Twitter as what the app is called in the App Store:
- Tap avatar to view profile
- Tap and hold for more actions (conversation, translate, etc.)
- Double tap to reply
- Triple tap to favorite
Improvements to Twitterific for iPad:
- Retweet with comments now user “RT @username” format
- User web page titles as the subject line when emailing links from the mini browser
- #hashtags now open in popovers when tapped for easy browsing
- Emoji characters supported in the timeline
- Increased timeout lengths for Twitter API connections
- Added feedback when tapping links
- “Restore Purchase” button to re-enable previous in-app updates
- Graphical tweaks to button appearance and placement throughout
- Added inline picture viewing for Mobypicture
- Reduced avatar flashing
In addition some bug fixes were also done. So, what are you waiting for, hit that update button now from your iPad App Store.
