Yes, it’s not only a location tracker through GPS but also a social networking app similar to Foursquare and Gowalla. What’s good about this iPad app is that it is compatible with LOCiMobile’s other GPS tracking apps installed on other devices and smartphones.

To use the app, you need to register an account on LociMobile. From then on, the app can triangulate your location using the iPad’s GPS feature. If your friends or any member of your family is using the app and are also registered user, you can trace their location by entering their contact name and contact email. If they are not member yet, you can invite them to join.
The app has a built-in map that immediately displays your location as well as the location of other people that you are tracking. If you tapped the blue pin that represents them on the map, the app will open app Google Maps on a new window. From there you can tap on the directions option to get the route direction for getting to the particular location (when available).
Overall, GPS Tracking runs well on both Wi-Fi and 3G connection. The main screen is well organized and gives you the most recent location outright.
