There could be two reasons for the recent change in the shipment date of iPads at all online Apple Stores, from one week to now 24 hours upon placement of orders. One is that Apple might have enough supply of iPads now or that the demand is dwindling down. But then there are other countries with still no official iPad availability. So, that rules out the lesser demand.
Anyway, in case you’re planning to get an iPad, you don’t have to wait for a couple of days anymore to get it delivered to your homes. Apple Stores will now ship your order within 24 hours. And that applies to all online Apple Stores in countries where iPad was released officially. I’ve checked some Apple Stores and indeed, shipping was reduced to 24 hours.
