Ok, we all know that the iPad can’t do multitasking not even for common tasks such as calendar, clock, calculator and the other usual apps that it has. But actually, you can do all that, not through the usual native iPad app, but through a dashpad-like web-based app called Dashpad 1.2.

Dashpad 1.2 gives you 8 widgets to use simultaneously including – a clock, calendar, calculator, unit converter, sticky note, Google search, Yellow Pages search and weather widget. The web-based app runs on your iPad’s mobile Safari browser via a slick interface. It’s a simple, clean and easy to use web-optimized app.
To use Dashpad, you need to purchase username and password on this site. Once you’ve registered an email will be sent to you containing the username and password that you’re going to use including the link where you will log-in so you can start using Dashpad on your iPad. The app runs fast on both 3G and WiFi connection. Once you’ve logge in to the site, you’d see the 8 widgets just below your iPad screen. To use any of them, simply tap on the widget icon and it will be push out to the main screen, from there you can start using the widget.

Dashpad would cost you $9.99 to use all those 8 widgets. You might think that those widgets are not worthy of your $9.99, but hey it adds some coolness factor to your iPad and those widgets would certainly come in handy later on. Hopefully, the developers would add some more widgets later on. That would be cooler.
