Wasn’t able to post last weekend because of this new turn-based game from Square Enix which just hit the iPad App Store recently – Chaos Ring. Sorry, I couldn’t help it, but I just have to say that this game truly rocks! If you’re a big fan of Squaresoft during the old Playstation days and lately Square Enix, you’d be glad to know that they just did us a favor by releasing Chaos Ring for the iPad. Final Fantasy 7 and 8 on the iPad, anyone?
Chaos Ring will remind you of Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 for the Playstation and Playstation 2. Yes, the “blocky,” unpolished graphics which you wouldn’t mind because of the great gameplay, battle system, and engagingly, deep storyline, and of course the superb musical scoring.
I’m almost done with my first try at the game and will definitely play it again to collect everything there is to collect as well as try out different scenarios. You read it right, this game has multiple endings and several scenarios. Definitely worth the $15 that you have to spare to get the game on your iPad.
